That’s right- the Moorish Room.

The Moorish Room by Black Woods is located just off of what was once Hotel Duluth’s lobby…

Now the building is called Greysolon Plaza- locally owned and operated Black Woods Group are the stewards of such amazing event spaces- both the Ballroom and the Moorish Room.

During the Hotel Duluth days, this was the hotel’s restaurant- the “Spanish Room”.   It’s unique Moorish-styled architecture uses arches, intricate calligraphy, & ornate tile work.  We just love how the pillars burst into the ceiling so that no matter what angle you are looking from, there are high arches everywhere.
