What do you need to know before booking with us?

Below are some of our most frequently asked questions about weddings and events at Greysolon. Don’t let our beautiful venue fool you – we are competitively priced and offer straight-forward quotes and information with no hidden costs!   • What's included in the room rental price?

    Your room rental not only includes the space itself, but white glove table-side service, cocktail service, linens, table fineries including china, silver & glassware, as well as the set up and tear down of the room.

  • Do you charge a cake cutting fee?

    No, we do not charge a cake cutting fee. We will cut and serve your cake at no additional cost.

  • Where can I park?

    Parking is just steps away at the City of Duluth parking ramp on the corner of Third Avenue and First Street. If you are attending an event in the ballroom, you may take the skywalk to the ballroom level. Attending an event in the Moorish Room? Please use the main entrance on Superior Street. Our doormen will greet you and your guests.

    Please note, the skywalk entrance is open one hour prior to the start of the ballroom event.

  • Is there lodging near you?

    Lodging is directly next door at the Sheraton Duluth Hotel.

  • Is there a fee for the bartender?

    No, we do not charge a fee to have a bartender nor do we require minimum bar sales for your event. We will also provide tableside cocktail service for no additional cost.

  • When can we come in to decorate?

    The Ballroom or Moorish Room is yours for the whole day, beginning at 10 am. Music ends and last call is at 12 am. Times can vary depending on your date and timeline.

  • Can we have our ceremony and reception in the Moorish Room?

    Yes, we have had many ceremonies in our Moorish Room and Ballroom. We will take care of the set up and conversion of the room, from ceremony to reception.

  • Is a deposit required?

    Yes, we require a deposit and signed contract to secure your date. This deposit will go as a credit on your final invoice.
